The mission of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) is to utilize the expertise of its members to lead in the development of strategies to:
Foster diversity at all levels of law enforcement;
Impact policies and procedures that would ensure equity in the delivery of law enforcement services;
Develop community partnerships to reduce violence, delinquency, crime and racism and;
Address professional misconduct within the law enforcement community.
This is accomplished through mentoring, training and research. NOBLE is committed to "Justice by Action!"
Meeting these objectives has been possible only through the perseverance, dedication and support of many individuals. Over the years, NOBLE has participated in the development of public policy, cooperated with other organizations on similar concerns, and launched innovative policing ideas. Moreover, NOBLE has been in the forefront supporting the development and implementation of fundamental law enforcement policies and procedures that enhance the profession's response to the needs of the communities they serve.
